This past week I
rediscovered my love for poster art.
After focusing on designing tattoo flash almost exclusively over the 3 summer months away from the structured, focused creation that is a semester at CCS, I had almost lost sight of the many other styles I work in. Luckily, I have a studio class dedicated solely to poster making which reminded me why posters are one of my favorite creative outputs.

I love looking at other
artists’ sketches and thumbnails and really seeing what goes through their head
that gets them to the finished product. So,
with this newly rediscovered passion burning, I thought I would share a bit of
my visual process for two movie posters I created this week!

I really enjoy the Good Fellas poster, but I enjoy how both of them are very minimal,
